IMMATERIAL ACTION I: MICROPHONE

Documentation of a Performance Piece by AG DAVIS
BLACK PEARL WAREHOUSE, ST. AUGUSTINE, FL 02/12/10

All matter, all energy w/ a microphone / / / all noumenon, all phenomenon w/ MIC; ubiquitous MIC . . . all microphones intercepting channels; synapses attached; thought currents attached; eyes attached; ears attached; sex-organs attached; senses regulated. Your sex / extrasex tapped into: monitored, re-dispatched, reformed, re-implanted. Breathing, pissing, shitting, walking, running, pacing, gesticulating, talking, screaming, conversing, arguing, PURGING, eating, watching, growing, or rather, devolving. But there is one thing that is never touched by the microphone, or if it is touched, it is only from a sizable distance. Their form can never be even partially known. Or, if their form can be known, their insides, their life-substance, can’t be; it is impossible. BLACKHOLES. These vampires and succubae of information: raw energy; non-regulated energy: never countered by the microphone.
A microphone: the first immensely effective step in obtaining you, capturing you, using you, FUCKING you. raw-data exercise—remote molestation and modulation of your energy. Perfidious chamber pot amber—softened, sculpted, and then ossified.
The flies. The stench. The vomit. The shit. The piss. The ART.
i accept the microphone as an instrument of torture.
i use it as a tool for and against myself.
i use it as myself.
i use it IN myself.
