| Featured Artist Q&A |
1. - Q: When did you first start making artwork? Is there a particular artist or group of artists that really sparked your interest in making art?
A: I’ve always drawn, since I was a child, but I do all this all the days and for work since 1995. Generally I draw in the morning and then I pass the rest of the day in front of my PC.I’m a free-lance journalist too and I do a lot of interviews with artists. I like more of all the world…I like all the artists, they’re magic.
2. - Q: Are you self-taught? Do you feel you had to ‘reinvent the wheel’ on your own to get where you are or are there certain people who have helped guide you along the way? Any important books that you found especially insightful for technique?
A:Yes, I’m totally a self-taught artist. I’ve had to reinvent myself so many times in my life…But in the art not, I’ve always been natural, real, true and sincere with myself, and I’ve followed only my pleasure, only my intuition. And I’ve done all alone.
3. - Q: What keeps you inspired to continue making new work?
A: Well…I like to draw, to create, to know myself better so…I don’t know to do anything else. I don’t know to be different… It’s my life and yes I don’t want another, I like what I do, I’ve chosen this ‘’work’’ because I like it.
4. - Q: What themes do you find yourself most attracted to and returning to in your work?
A: I’m attracted most and I’m inspired by all the dark, weird things…but I’m inspired too and I search to put also in my art all that I listen, I see, I like at the moment…
5. - Q: How much of each piece of your artwork would you consider comes from an intuitive or spontaneous sense of creating and how much is analytical and planned out?
A: I follow only(and not only in my art,but generally in my life)my intuition when I create.
6. - Q: How important is music to your art? Do you listen to certain music when working? Any particular musicians?
A: Music is very important for me…for my art…I cannot draw without music. I listen to everything… mostly industrial, harsh noise, dark ambient, experimental electronic, death metal…I adore Diamanda Galas. |

A: I’ve attracted from time immemorial from the Eastern thought. I’ve studied and I practice Kundalini Yoga, TAI-Chi, Qi Gong, Taoist meditation, and many other similar things…. I’m interested in magic thought, Qabalah, Tarot… I’ve been influenced much by the teachings of Aurobindo and Mère. I don’t know really if all that I’ve read has influenced me and my art and how.
8. - Q: Who is your favorite young author right now?
A: I’ve a lot of artists to list and I think it’s not right to mention only some.
